This picture was taken of me 4 years ago on my wedding day, in Hawaii. I can’t remember a time when I was happier or more relaxed.

For those of you who don’t know me – HI ! – I am Deb Bronson, a local girl, born and raised in Hawaii. I live with my husband Jim and our 3 cats: Litter, Lustre and GG, in a wonderful spot under the shadow of Mt. Rainier. Auburn is a sleepy town, about 35 miles south of Seattle.

I have a degree in apparel design - always wanted to be a fashion designer, but never went in that direction as a career. It’s my marketing job that currently supports my "need to bead."

I have been into all kinds of arts and crafts since I was a little asthmatic girl growing up in Hawaii. Sewing, crocheting, embroidery, beading etc. Four years ago, I started beading again, initially to make a few presents. I found it to be therapeutic and I thoroughly enjoyed the happiness I was able to bring my friends with my beaded creations. It just made sense to take it to the next step.

Since I have a "real" job, I have limited time for my jewelry business. I make jewelry all year and market it via my online catalog.

During the holiday season I do a few arts and crafts events in Seattle area. My plan is to make this my primary business in a few years.

So far, it has been a blast! Bronson Designs has given me an opportunity to use a wide range of my skills – from design to marketing to business management. In addition to creating jewelry, I am also learning web design. I built my first site in 2005 and this year added the shopping cart.
